Animal Feed Ingredients

Palm kernel meal (PKM) is the byproduct of oil extraction from palm kernel. This by-product is ever increasing due to the increasing growth of the oil palm industry in Asia and Africa.

Deoiled rice bran is a moderate protein and a high energy feed  ingredient, particularly used in the increased rate of growth for young animals.

Fermenting soya protein is a process of dehulling soybean meal with Lactobacillus acidophilus.  This digests the protein structure to a smaller molecular weight, thus efficiently increasing digestion and absorption.

Wheat bran is a by-product of the dry milling of common wheat. It is one of the major agro-industrial by-products used in animal feeding.

Corn gluten meal is a feed rich in protein, containing about 60% protein, used as a source of protein, energy and pigments for livestock species.

Oil

Palm kernel oil is obtained from the kernel of the oil palm fruit.  The low level of free fatty acid makes the quality of the oil excellent.

Rice bran oil is the oil extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice after chaff (rice husk). Crude rice bran oil is the raw material of refined rice bran oil manufacturing.

Refined rice bran oil is commonly used in cooking for many Asian countries. It is also widely used in animal feed.

Others

Palm kernel shell ash is a by-product of the combustion of palm kernel shells under a controlled temperature.
