Palm oil milling is a major industry in Southeast Asian countries. Besides producing palm oil, the industry also produces byproducts usable as animal feed. The most common is palm kernel meal (PKM). This can be obtained from the crushing and physical expelling or extracting of oil from the palm kernel. With its high concentration of protein, roughage, minerals, vitamins B and E, manganese, potassium, and silicon, palm kernel meal is suitably used as ruminant feed for growth and fattening of farming animals.

Golden Time Biotechnology uses the hexane solvent oil extraction method. This method gives a high yield of palm kernel oil when compared to the mechanical extraction method. Hence, our palm kernel meal has a low oil content.
